Overview
So far we've gone over the reasons for shifting your vibration in order to receive answers. We've also explored ways to consistently shift vibration, and tried out a few exercises.
Sometimes, as human beings, it's not always easy to get into a calm vibe mentally. We may be able to cultivate a calm emotion and feeling, but if our question has a strong emotional charge, we need some tools to dispell that charged mental energy.
We do that by getting very clear on what it is we really are asking for. Then we express confidence that the Universe hears us and will deliver.
When we're not clear, the mind might go blank
The key to getting authentic answers when you're upset or emotionally charged, is to dial in what you truly are asking for. This will clear your mind and sharpen your focus when asking.
Then, if any nervous energy arises, you can reframe it so that your mind can maintain a positive and receptive focus.

Wk 3 - Mindset Prep for Clear Questions and Answers
Do an audio on vibration vs words - Guides hear vibration as your true request. We need to align our what with our why - our stated need with our authentic values. We also need to make sure we’re very clear on both. This might take some thought ahead of time so we’ll do some exercises also. The video below explains this concept in more detail, and there is an exercise/prompt to follow.

Below is download that talks about how we can begin to dip our toes in the water by looking closely at our true needs using Maslow's of Needs. The reason this is important is because sometimes our first reaction to a problem or situation does not reflect what we are actually needing. We might for example, ask how we can change something, when in fact our true need is to find comfort and advice on how to overcome our feelings about it. If we are not clear, our Guides will have a hard time giving us the answer. We must be in touch with what we are truly asking, in order to receive a clear answer.

Needs and Clarity Journal Prompt:
What are 3-5 needs that are on your mind right now, that you are seeking a solution for?
- First, write out the problems exactly as you see them.
- Next, ask yourself: what need am I acutally trying to fulfill? Review the full spectrum of needs, from physical to emotional to mental, to your sense of meaning and purpose.
Let's use an example:
I don't like my job. Spirit, please show me how to change my career path.
With this question, you may get an answer, or you may not.
If you are pulling a blank and not getting any feedback, get in deeper touch with the needs surrounding your question. Perhaps you are under too much stress. Perhaps you have a need more fulfillment. Think about some of your specific needs, and put them into your request:
Spirit, I need a reduction in stress. Please show me how I can reduce stress.
Spirit, I need more fulfilling work. Please give me some ideas and opportunities.
This evaluation of needs helps with clarity.
When your question is super clear, so is your answer.

Values and Priorities
Another angle with which took look at our questions has to do with how we feel.
This exercise is about asking, "What's most important right now?"
The clearer our questions, the clearer our answers!
Later, we will be making powerful connections with energy and with our Inner Guidance. But we need to create self awareness, clarity and confident intention first so that the energies will flow freely.
So let's take a look at Values and Priorities, in the Journal Prompt sheet below.
